Ultrasound

It's been a little while since I updated. Probably because I can't keep my eyes open long enough to put clothes on haha.. This little peanut is wearing me out. GOOD NEWS!!! We had our first ultrasound and to say that I was nervous was an understatement. My palms were sweaty and my heart was racing. As soon as the ultrasound started I seen it!! Our little peanut!

I thought I was at 7 weeks 2 days but they pushed me up two days... So now my due date is OCTOBER 24th! Everything looked good. It's growing right on time. HB was 157 and the peanut was measuring about 1.5cm. So I'm guessing a GIRL! The only thing is I have a small subchorionic hemorrhage. You can see it in the top two pictures.. It's the little black space that is at the top left of the placenta. It's pretty much a small blood clot that is attached to the outside of the placenta. Usually they said it just absorbs back into the body. I just have to rest and make sure it doesn't get any bigger. The smaller the better and there's hope that is will just disappear. Let's pray that it does. 1 in 4 pregnancies have it and it's the cause of some of the 1st trimester spotting. So far I haven't had any spotting from that and I have a sneaking suspicion that it was the cause of my cramping earlier on. I'm hoping the baby aspirin I'm on and the rest will make it disappear completely.

The nausea is starting to get a little bit worse and I'm starting to get a horrible metallic taste to my mouth. I'm still as exhausted as ever. I had to cancel my photoshoot that I was suppose to have today. With the SCH I'm not suppose to be lifting or exercising. I go back to the doctor on Tues to meet him and discuss everything. Then I will probably have another ultrasound to make sure the clot is going away. I will be 8 weeks tomorrow. So thank you for all the prayers and keep them coming. :)
